February Review: Unproductive Month

February 26th, 2010 No comments

I must admit that this month was very unproductive for me. I have tried to write down things that I need to do for February and guess what; I didn’t do any of them. Reason? Lazy… and that is why I called it my unproductive month. I have so many things in my mind, and I know if I choose to do it no matter what it can be done. Oh well… I can’t look back now. What a waste of time I reap what I sow.

On the bright side son ‘A’ has been consistently trying to finish his homework at school. My soon 4 year old girl ‘B’, being a good helper folding the laundry, arranging books and tidy up the floor, makes a lot of different. I have started to introduce a simple Chinese word which I got from the net. At least now she can count number 1 to 10 in Chinese and a few Chinese words. Introducing one Chinese word at a time for her to familiarize and hoping that it would be easier for her when she starts kindergarten next year. As for little ‘C’, active boy… and he is so sticky. I can’t concentrate doing my sewing project and other things. He will play for awhile by himself and the moment I stand up, he starts crying. He develops a mild rash on his body recently. Not sure whether he is allergic to certain food. Maybe I should try looking for allergy relief cream. Though it’s not a serious rash, but it makes him feel uncomfortable, especially at night.

Our family activity was the usual thing which is going to the park, jog together and swimming that will be during the weekend. March is coming soon and again I try to list down my monthly to do list. Hoping to accomplish those listed. Until then have a fruitful weekend everyone!

January Review: Busy and Yet Wonderful

January 28th, 2010 1 comment

The first month of 2010 will end in a few days. It was a busy month for me specially the first 2 weeks. I have started a new adventure that is learning how to sew and I’m loving it. I manage to make a dress for my girl as my first project. Then I tried making a handbag which I use for the One World One Heart giveaway event. Our marriage turns 9 years on Jan 6 and my baby turns 1 year old on Jan 8.

My son ‘A’ started his standard 2 this year and early this month he comes out with a suggestion that he will try to do his homework at school so that he has more time to play at home. I also notice that his Chinese has improved a little. He is now trying to converse in Chinese to his friend at school.

As for my soon 4 years old girl, well… she is still at home, and we are still considering whether to send her to play school this year or next year. Home schooling came into the thought but I really don’t had the courage to do it considering the amount of time spent ,the materials, commitment and others. I admire parents who successfully home schooled their children. We have been doing some phonics and spelling  together (with my self-made alphabet) at home though it’s not consistent. I’m amazed at how fast she picks-up and remember those words. I am glad that she can write and spell quite a number of words by her own.

Not in the mood of blogging this month due to the busyness but I did finish all my blog assignment except for spine surgery Mexico. I thank God for a wonderful month of January and I’m starting to write what to do for February.

How about you? How was your January month?
