My first entry for Mommy Moments hosted at The Mommy Journey. This week theme is “encounter with pets or animals”. This picture was taken last year when we visited the Wildlife Park. The kids enjoy the trip and my boy definitely loves his first time elephant ride.

Daisy loved to dance. More than anything else she wanted to be a famous ballet dancer. Every night she dreamed of performing in front of a real audience. But today was Daisy’s first lesson at her new dancing school. As she walked into the huge hall, she felt a little worried.
This is her current favorite book. She even sleeps with it, and I have been reading the same book to her repeatedly for the past few days. She woke up this morning saying “mommy can you read”. She loves it when I replace Daisy’s name to hers. I enjoy the reading moment with my little helper at home.

Another Monday to start a fresh week. I love to start my week with this prayer for my kids adapted from Barbara Cornet Ryber.
I washed the dirt from little feet, and as I wash I pray, “Lord, keep them pure and true, to walk in Your way!”
I wash the dirt from little hands, and earnestly I ask, “Lord, may they ever willing be, to do the humblest task.”
I wash the dirt from little knees, and pray, “Lord, may these be the places where victories are won, and guidance sought from Thee.”
I scrub the clothes that soil so soon, and pray, “May they be dressed throughout eternal ages in Your robe of Righteousness.”
Before many hours shall pass, I know I’ll wash these hands again; And there’ll be dirt upon their clothes before the day shall end.
But as they journey on through life and learn of want and pain, Lord, keep their precious little hearts cleansed from sin and stain!
For soap and water cannot reach where You alone can see.
Their hands and feet, these I can wash — I trust their hearts to Thee.”
Other than cleaning the TV screen, she loves folding laundry, and she can really fold neat and nicely done.

at 4 months old :

She turns 3 years old on April 27. She insisted that she is 2 years old. “I am 2 years old, I don’t like number 3″ She said. Still doesn’t like to wear dress and skirt. She will only wear skirt on her birthday say this girl.

Outside the house insist daddy holding her hands and always want to be with daddy. But inside the house only want mummy. Love to check the brother school bag, she say she is checking his homework. She’ll put out the entire book and check one by one. Loves cleaning the TV monitor. Loves checking the elder brother sleeping just incase he’s not wearing blanket.

Happy birthday sweetie.
How do your kids behave at shopping complex? As for my two kids, as soon as they step into mall, they start making noise, jumping, shouting, running, hide in between the clothes rack. I find myself constantly saying “stop running, this is not a play ground”. Their favorite spot is the toys area.
My boy loves to run from a point to point. Often time when we can’t find him, hubby and I have to go separately to look for him and sometimes we wasted our time searching for him. My boy has a history of missing at the shopping mall when he was only one a half year. He went inside the lift by himself. So it’s like a trauma to me.
