Beautiful Monday #2

May 25th, 2009 No comments

How’s your Monday today? What have you accumulated in your mind to complete your week? For me other than adoring my little baby smiles this morning, I shall start my week with this prayer.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
when there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

Grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand,
to be loved as to love;

for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying [to ourselves] that we are born to eternal life.

Isn't he's cute?

Embrace whatever challenge comes your way
Discipline – Something to think about

Be an inspiration..not just a good example

For many years I have been immerse myself in my work passionately and committed. I love working passionately on something that trill me and sometimes it doesn’t even feels like work. When I decided to become a stay at home mom lasts year, I find it hard to shift myself from a working mother to a stay at home mother. The process began slowly but surely and now I am in the process of a positive change.

One of the most challenging things for me as a stay at home mother is the fact that my own behavior is on show 24/7. Children listen to what their parents say but it doesn’t go into their brain if they see their parents do the opposite. Other word is they do not walk the talk. I have to take a deep look at myself and ask if I would be happy to see my kids turn out to be something. I also realize that my kids look up to me everyday.

I have been reminding myself to be their inspiration not just a good example that I am special for them and exceptional and that make me excited to wake up every morning. I think the best way to be an inspiration is to feel inspired.

Beautiful Monday #1

May 18th, 2009 2 comments

As usual hubby wakes up at 5.30 am to prepare A to school. I started my Monday by waking up at 6.00 am. Prepare A breakfast had a little chat with him on the table. His Year one first term exam starts today. My saying goodbye to him followed by prayer that God would refresh and fills his heart with joy and peace.I inspired myself with a beautiful worship song “Majesty”. I have been inspired by these songs during the church worship yesterday Sunday. Thanks Abbot for the inspiring and beautiful selection of Sunday worship song. I was so charged up yesterday during the worship that I don’t want the worship to end. The sermon is so simple and yet relevant and meaningful.

Ok..So I started my house work by cleaning and sweeping the floor follow by laundry. Baby C wakes up at 8.30 am had a little peek on him and say hello. He response with a smile and starts cooing and playing with his fingers and feet while I continue my stuff.

9.30 am my girl B wakes up and play with baby C. Breastfeed baby C while singing Majesty song to him. Pick up my guitar, tune it a bit and there I am singing Majesty while playing the guitar. Thanks to my audience B and baby C. As I type this post baby C is sound asleep and B is playing with her starfall on the other computer. We dedicate one computer for the kids to play with. Mummy has one and daddy got his laptop so we do not argue and quarrel with one computer and thanks to hubby for setting up the wireless network at home.

My conclusion: Starting your Monday, day or week with a positive attitude does make a difference with your day. I know some people label Monday as a black Monday. One thing for sure you start your day with a negative thought or attitude and you can expect your whole day with a black day. Find your own motivation or inspiration to start your day. I end my post with Majesty lyrics and my all time favorite verse “This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it”.
Psalm 118:24

Majesty (Here I Am)
Here I am humbled by your Majesty
Covered by your grace so free
Here I am, knowing I’m a sinful man
Covered by the blood of the Lamb

Now I’ve found the greatest love of all is mine
Since you laid down your life
The greatest sacrifice

Majesty, Majesty
Your grace has found me just as I am
Empty handed, but alive in your hands
Majesty, Majesty
Forever I am changed by your love
In the presence of your Majesty

Here I am humbled by the love that you give
Forgiven so that I can forgive
Here I stand, knowing that I’m your desire
Sanctified by glory and fire

Now I’ve found the greatest love of all is mine
Since you laid down your life
The greatest sacrifice

What a beautiful Monday to start my week. How’s your beautiful Monday?

I have registered myself for woman conferences organize by my church on April 3rd, 2008 for 2 days. The conference started on 3rd night and I overlooked the date.

Due to my frustration I decided not to attend the whole conference. And I’m so disappointed that I didn’t go to church last weekend. Yesterday I received sms from one of the church staff asking me to collect a letter from the help desk. Ok so I attended the Saturday service and collected the letter. The letter was from one of the women conference speaker. As I read the letter my tears comes down and I was moved. As I sang the worship, peace filled my heart and His presence was so beautiful.

How Can I Keep From Singing Your Praise

April 8th, 2008 No comments

This design comes from the inspiration of Chris Tomlin song (the chorus) and I just loves the lyrics. The people image looking up is my girl.

How can I keep from singing Your praise
How can I ever say enough
How amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your name
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart want to sing

Eleven People On A Rope

April 5th, 2008 No comments

From my email today..

11 people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter, 10 men & 1 woman. The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided that one had to leave, because otherwise they were all going to fall. They were unable to decide who would let go, until the woman gave a very touching speech. She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because, as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her husband and kids and for men in general, and was used to always making sacrifices with little in return.
As soon as she finished her speech, all the men started clapping . . .

The Courage to Embrace Whatever Challenge Comes Your Way

March 5th, 2008 No comments

This is so inspiring that I must post it into my blog.

There is one basic key to genuine confidence: It’s knowing that whatever happens to you, you can handle it with ease. Now, imagine the freedom and assurance you’d feel if you met every moment of your life with that kind of inner confidence!

Think how alive you would feel if you were able to enter each new day knowing that no matter who you met, or what happened to you, you would always have the inner resources to handle it perfectly.

There would be no such thing as a crisis.
You would be flexible and willing to try new things.
You would never be intimidated by any person or situation.
You would be open to love because you would be open to life!

Don’t live in fear of what may come next. Be the master of whatever happens by entering the expansive life where everything always leads to the next higher and better level of yourself!

Something To Think About

March 1st, 2008 No comments
Discipline yourself to do what you know you need to do to be the very best in your field. Perhaps the best definition of self discipline is this: “Self discipline is the ability to make yourself do what you should do when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not.”It is easy to do something when you feel like it. It’s when you don’t feel like it and you force yourself to do it anyway that you move your life and career onto the fast track.
What decisions do you need to make today in order to start moving toward the top of your field? Whatever it is, either to get in or get out, make a decision today and then get started. This single act alone can change the whole direction of your life – Brian Tracy

Bible verse

February 24th, 2008 No comments

Here are some positive aspects of stress in life taken from the book I’m currently reading and how true that is.

Stress is necessary for spiritual growth (James 1:2-4)
Stress produces more love in committed people (Romans 5:3-5)
Stress produces a greater degree of sanctification (1 Peter 1:6-7)
Testing prepares you for greater works (Revelation 3:12)
Stress causes the greatest need for prayer
(Philippians 4:6)
Stress comes from resisting Satan
(1 Peter 5:9)
Testing comes before victory
(James 1:12; Romans 8:35-37)
Stress produces seeking after God, and that glorifies Him
(1 Peter 4:12-13)

THE MORE TIME YOU TAKE TO THINK THROUGH A SITUATION, THE MORE CAPABLE YOU WILL BE OF DEALING WITH IT WHEN IT ARISES.

Book Review

February 22nd, 2008 No comments

I’m currently reading “PROFILES of SUCCESS” book. Amazing book that will change the way you look at life. This book is a collection of viewpoints from many respectable best-selling authors such as Zig Ziglar, John Mason and many others, combine their wealth of wisdom in this one of a kind collection. All of them share a common faith in God which has allowed them to impact the culture in wonderful ways.

The following input was written by Guy Carlson

Does Wealth = success?

That depends on how you define success! Wealth that really counts is stored in heaven. Our lifetime is but a moment on the scale of eternity. What we accumulate here stays here. Not everyone is destined to be wealthy. God has placed men and women at all levels of affluence to touch the live of others. At the very least, however, God promises that all of our needs will be met. Beyond that, it is up to His pleasure and our faithfulness.

Sucess for the whole man encompasses the total of his being. Are you healthy? Do you have a good relationship with your wife/husband? Are your children a blessing? Are you fulfilling your God-given destiny? Are you helping others to achieve their destiny? What have you done with what you have been given? Are you pleasing God in everything you do?

Our name may never appear on the list of Forbes 500, but it is another list that is most important. When the race is finished and you stand before the judge, the successful scorecard will read something like this: “Your name has been written in the Book Of Life. Well done good and faithful servant. Enter into your reward.”
