I visited a blog by a mother recently whose son died of Meningoccoal disease three years ago, and I was so touched by the story, as if he is my son. In addition, I actually cried while reading what she wrote. My mind begins to wonder bit by bit goes deep into the heart and imagining the worst thing could happen to my children. As a result after the crying and the wandering mind, I feel so helpless. Have you ever experienced similar situation?
What do you feel most helpless about in your life or in your children’s lives? Bring that very need and your sense of helplessness about it to God today.
Thank You, Lord, that You meet moms in all the cries and everyday problems of our children’s lives and our own lives. Thank You even for our helplessness because that draws us to You. I want to trust You and believe that when we call to You, You are there. Thank You that we don’t have to have the problems figured out, that we can merely bring ourselves and our children to You and know we are safe in Your hands.
I’m back on track…
Wow! I’m almost out of the first trimester! It’s really hard to believe. Next week I will be 3 months pregnant.
For the past 2 months I’ve felt extra tired… really tired. I feel nauseous almost all the time, throwing up.. but nothing very bad at all… it’s more annoying than anything else. I have to go to the bathroom often. Fun, fun, fun!
Really, I like being pregnant!
Nothing exciting has happened. Allan (almost 3) acts likes a baby sometimes… he is very cheeky, cheerful little boy. We talk about baby in mamma’s tummy. He makes little baby sounds and “insists” on being picked up. There was another time when he laid on the ground and made baby sounds. I wonder how many children do this???
My hubby was quite busy ever since he took over the manager position. But beside his busyness he still helps me with the house work and cooking. Praise God for a kind and supportive husband.
I don’t feel very nauseous any more! Yayh!! But I still have to make sure I eat often enough. One day I went too long without eating and my face got sweaty, and I felt really weak. Sometimes when I feel hungry, no matter what I eat the hungry feeling is still there.
My tummy is showing. With my first pregnancy I took longer time to show. This time I can see my tummy growing big a bit faster, and it just seems to be getting bigger and bigger. My pants are tight, and I can’t wear most of them.
