Beyond Motherhood

My son love watching motorcycle off road just like his daddy. They can spend the whole afternoon watching the off road scene on you tube. His daddy even suggested that both of them can borrow or rent one just to experience the off road thrill with motorcycle. They have asked me to make two motorcycle jackets for them which I don’t think I will do it as I don’t really support their plan.

We are planning for a family picnic trip to one of the rural back areas the only problem is we are not familiar with the roads. So I will be borrowing a handheld garmin gps from a friend and uses it to guide us there. We never had any experience in using a gps before, but I heard from a friend that it is very easy to use and navigate to the destination. Hopefully, it will help us to get there without any problem.

Working from home is what I have been wanting to do, and I don’t mind doing some odd part-time work like writing essay and perform certain surveying tasks where I get paid as long as money coming in. I have been doing a little paid post program though not many, but I enjoy doing it.

Recently, I have been given a task to write 500 words essay each of the four questions given, and of course I get paid for doing so. There are so many so called part time income that you can find on the internet. The 6th edition of the KK Jazz Festival is happening again starting today and tomorrow at Sutera Harbour Covered Tennis Court. It’s a musical featuring a line-up of international and local artists performing together that include playing musical instruments like piano, guitar and alto saxophone. This fund raising extravaganza has become the signature event for Sabah. I was given a ticket to attend but unfortunately was not able to make it.

I like sewing, and this was one of my childhood dreams. I bought a sewing machine and started making custom made shirts for my children as it was much cheaper and can be tailored made to fit their little bodies. I can have my own choice of designs, colors and materials. I have gained tremendous experience in sewing with the help of sewing manuals, I found online.

We had a simple Mother’s day celebration, and the kids had a singing and dance performance at the day-care centre celebrating mother’s day. I will be getting a simple cake for father’s day with berries’ decoration or maybe bake one similar to the one at berries.com. How about you?
