Life with Newborn

March 21st, 2010 No comments

Each newborn baby is unique and has their own special way of expressing needs, but they share the same basic needs. In the first few weeks they’ll communicate mainly through crying. They can sleep up to 8 hours a day or more. Caring for newborn can be very demanding that sometimes we overlook our own needs. Look after yourself by staying healthy i.e. sleep when the baby does, forget about doing the housework, it can wait, go for a walk with your baby, even if it’s only a short distance. Eat well and forget about looking for the best weight loss diet pills. Mums need all the energy, especially if you are breastfeeding.

You will also received advises from people around you, which may or may not be helpful. My advice trusts your instinct, and you will soon get to know your baby better than anyone else does. Newborns’ don’t just eat and sleeps; from the moment they born, they are more than just a bundle of needs. They get connected whenever you play, chat, show them things, and make faces at them. It’s all part of helping them to develop and giving them the best possible start.

Walking for Fitness

March 21st, 2010 No comments

Our kids love to go for a walk in the park, and we normally go there during the weekend. We will do the walking and occasionally jog around the park with our kid’s tag along. We spend around 1 hour or so in the park, and sometimes we could not feel the tiredness because we all had a great time talking and playing with each other. Walking is one of the easiest, enjoyable, simple exercises, and most of all it was one of the best fat burning exercises and fun to do too.

Out of shape?

March 21st, 2010 No comments

Worrying about body shape and appearance clouds many women’s experience of pregnancy. A recent survey found that while 60% of mums enjoyed their pregnancy, 40% worried that they wouldn’t be able to regain their pre-pregnancy figures. Consequently, 62% admitted to putting pressure on themselves to get back into shape, with 32% resorting to fad diets and excessive exercise. – Mother & Baby Magazine.

While I do worry a little of not being able to get back in shape, but I never thought of taking any dieting pills. Mums should really consider before deciding to take one due to the unknown effect.

Exam Table

March 15th, 2010 No comments

In my numerous visits to different doctors, there is one thing that had caught my attention. Most government hospital does not have a proper medical exam table. All they have was a conventional chair. It was very uncomfortable and also non adjustable. As a patient I believe they deserve a better facility where they can sit down comfortably and can be positioned at the right angle for the doctor to examine.

Property

Searching for a house can be very tiring and this is what happen when we were looking for a house a year ago, we search for a number of avenues nothing comes close to my expectation. Then at one time after hours surfing the net, I came across Outer banks foreclosures properties. Never in my thought that I can find so many good properties at such a reasonable price. This is one of the areas I would recommend to search if you are looking for a property.
