I must admit that this month was very unproductive for me. I have tried to write down things that I need to do for February and guess what; I didn’t do any of them. Reason? Lazy… and that is why I called it my unproductive month. I have so many things in my mind, and I know if I choose to do it no matter what it can be done. Oh well… I can’t look back now. What a waste of time I reap what I sow.
On the bright side son ‘A’ has been consistently trying to finish his homework at school. My soon 4 year old girl ‘B’, being a good helper folding the laundry, arranging books and tidy up the floor, makes a lot of different. I have started to introduce a simple Chinese word which I got from the net. At least now she can count number 1 to 10 in Chinese and a few Chinese words. Introducing one Chinese word at a time for her to familiarize and hoping that it would be easier for her when she starts kindergarten next year. As for little ‘C’, active boy… and he is so sticky. I can’t concentrate doing my sewing project and other things. He will play for awhile by himself and the moment I stand up, he starts crying. He develops a mild rash on his body recently. Not sure whether he is allergic to certain food. Maybe I should try looking for allergy relief cream. Though it’s not a serious rash, but it makes him feel uncomfortable, especially at night.
Our family activity was the usual thing which is going to the park, jog together and swimming that will be during the weekend. March is coming soon and again I try to list down my monthly to do list. Hoping to accomplish those listed. Until then have a fruitful weekend everyone!
After my first project adventure in sewing, I have tried making other items like handbag, skirt, pants and dress. I admire those mummies who really can sew and have a creative mind. I can’t come out with an instant idea to create a sewing pattern on my own. But thanks to the online information which has lots and lots of great idea and free pattern to download. I have so much fun learning and downloading those patterns, and I have not allocated a place for my sewing room at home. We have 2 empty rooms, and I shall start working and decorating the sewing room which I don’t know when it can be done. When it is up maybe I can start another adventure, making personalized photo mug. Hehe… hubby was saying.. ‘You have not even completed your sewing project’… I saw a shop having promotional mugs recently, and I was so tempted to own those mugs.
Anyway on another sewing project update, I made a tote bag for my girl. A tote bag made from her used outgrown pants. A combination of 2 used pants, then I cut it into 16 rectangle pieces and voila! A tote bag. I use my used jeans short pants for the letter ‘B’. I suddenly realize that I have a lot of used clothes which we don’t use anymore, and I might as well use it for my sewing thing. I bought quite a number of fabrics recently, and I have not started using them. So much for sewing post, I shall end it now.
If there is one thing I find the most annoying attitude that my kids use to do during our shopping for grocery is playing with the wall mount barcode scanner. Both son ‘A’ and girl ‘B’ loves playing with it. They will find their usual items, which are the toys not one but two or three on their hand. Sometimes I give up of asking them not play with it as they will repeat it again after being told. So what I do is asking the security to tell them not to play. It works better sometimes. Do you have similar experience?
When it is the time of the year when we need to renew the auto insurance, we thought of reviewing the coverage because there are many insurance companies offering different packages out there. The main concern is to have a sufficient cover in the market value of the car and also includes natural disaster such as floods and fires. With that we just need to find the most affordable package.
If you are in IT field, one of the work tasks is to maintain UPS for the company. The usual problem with UPS is the non performing old battery and finding the right replacement batteries proved to be a tedious task. Some of the UPS does not have a manual to refer. So in order to find out what type battery in the UPS, you will need to open up the UPS to determine the type of battery before replacing it. Yes that is according to dear hubby.
At home hubby is the one who disposed off garbage from the house. We always have this problem with kitchen waste because they are mostly wet and oily substance. I wish I could afford to buy a compost tumbler for the solution. I was told it is easy to use, critters proof, odorless and all I have to do is gather the waste into the tumbler, mix it once a week and continue for 3 weeks. After that, the waste is properly compost and ready to dispose.
Beating or removing acne from the face can be quite frustrating sometimes especially if you are a girl who tried to look nice and pretty. I’m sure you will try to find the best treatment or solution to get rid of those unwanted acnes. Though there are a few methods or solution you can find outside but choosing the right one is quite hard sometimes when you are on a tight budget. Tazorac cream is one of those creams that are being use to treat acnes, but I wouldn’t know whether it is really working.
