Insurance

September 26th, 2009 No comments

In my previous post, I talked about my imagination of owning a luxury motorhome for me and hubby when we retired. When I mentioned this to hubby, he says “wait until we get one million dollar” first. We loved to joke and asking questions to each other “what do you do when you have one million dollar?” Sometimes we get so carried away and we just laugh about it. I wonder what will be the motorhome insurance coverage.

mommy moments

I love this idea of Mommy Moments it’s giving me an idea of what to do with my Scrapbooking theme. Ever since I joined this meme, I have started creating all my Mommy Moments post into digital Scrapbooking. If you loved Mommy Moments with your kids and want to share those moments with other mummies, join this meme hosted at The Mommy Journey.

Today theme is “That’s My Favorite”. Other than playing with their respective toys, playing with each other or just taking picture together is one of their favorite and my favorite too.

Little Sunny Water

Little Sunny Water
sleeping in the corner
wake up wake up wash your face
and make a bumble shake

oh shake it to the left
and shake it to the right
point to the east and point to the west
point to the one whom you like best

I have just taught my girl this song recently with my self-create action, and she enjoys it. Baby ‘C’ loves it when I do the wake up, wash face and bumble shake action. Anyway, I have decided to get a part time helper starting next week to help with house chores. Now, what is this phosphacore all about? What a weird word. I’m off to check it out.

Light

September 25th, 2009 No comments

When it comes to light, I normally go for elegance, contemporary and yet simple light. I’m on the lookout for sconce light just like I saw on the internet. Now I’m thinking of changing the entire light in my house or maybe just the living and dining room if budget permitted. We have already started changing some of the bulbs to the energy saving bulb.

Special Day

September 25th, 2009 No comments

What so special about today? You might ask. Well, because it’s a marathon blog post this is because I have been given quite a  number of assignments to do. I’m trying to finish it by evening so that I don’t need to on the computer at night. Anyway, I’m curious about this Fastin thing and my son just suddenly mention that he wants to be a bus driver when he grows up. I’m clueless…..

This 8.5 months baby of mine is very mobile and active. I don’t know how times he hurt himself while cruising around the house. So far, he has a bump on his forehead, cheek, a cut on his lips and bruises on his knee and feet. Sometimes its concerns me especially if the fall is at the same area.

My son ‘A’ discovered chatting online recently and since then he has been chatting with daddy. He says “Mummy, I’m big already because I know a lot of things”. He is on email stage as well.

Yesterday he sent me an email about his birthday present list. More than ten items on the list. Since he enjoyed chatting with daddy online might just buy him chat software good enough already.

Try Smiling!

September 24th, 2009 No comments

smileThe following article written by Nancy Campbell founder of Above Rubies. When I read this article, I got a hit on my head.

There are two things that seem to be fading from society whistling men and smiling mothers. Is it the stress of our busy lives that rob us of these two ingredients that fill homes with happiness? It is rare to hear men whistling today. Mothers’ smiles are also disappearing. I see so many sad, depressed and hang-dog faces on mothers and this is an age of smaller families! Do we need to slow down to find time to smile again? To take time to smile at our children.

You Reap What You Sow

you-reap-what-you-sow

For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:8

wfw

A very challenging verse to me especially in my parenting journey.

WHAT WE ARE TODAY IS DUE TO WHAT WE DID YESTERDAY…
WHAT WE ARE TOMORROW WILL BE DUE TO WHAT WE DO TODAY…

And so in parenting, we will reap what we sow. Our children without exception, will reflect back to us what he or she sees in what we do. They reflect our own attitudes the good and the bad. Other word our children mirror us. If we do not like our character today, we can always change. Visit Forever His for more WFW.
