Beyond Motherhood

Feeling a bit worried, anxious, excited and tired! But Mostly I feel well, sure, I’m tired and achy and sleep involves a minimum of 5 pillows, but otherwise well. It’s hard to work on anything, except bustling around the house, putting away things, washing things. I understand it’s typical of the last week of pregnancy to do nesting. I do laundry, and waddle around picking things up around the house. Soon a little girl will come and she will take over every minute of my day and night for some time. My hospital and the baby bag are not packed. Hmmm… Will start packing soon.
Allan my son has been very good… helping me cleaning and picking up things around the house. Sometimes if he wants more attention he will start do something you know.. like little baby…. Have been missed his story time at night quite a number of days… what I do is having him start memorizing “The Lord Prayer”… easier for me… and surprisingly after a few days memorizing together, he can recite half of it until “as it is in heaven” the rest a bit here and there la… Told him that by the time the baby comes out he must be able to teach the whole prayer to the baby. Hubby has been quite busy with his project going on… come home late sometimes. I’m Still working and driving… fetching my son from school (only if hubby can’t make it). All the things happening I thank God for everything.
